Addison
YAB PRESIDENt
Addison is an 11th-grade student. She has a passion for volunteer work that was sparked at the beginning of Covid, and she hasn't stopped volunteering since. This is her third year as a part of YAB, and her favorite YVCHR project that she has ever participated in is the Bunk Build Projects. She also loves to work with animals and volunteers with the Peninsula SPCA.
Todrick

Todrick Capleton is an 11th grade student who enjoys pursuing artistic interests and studying about subjects within the humanities and social sciences. He aspires to study Commerce and Philosophy at the University of Virginia and pursue his J.D. in order to become a corporate lawyer. Fun fact: Todrick has never broken a bone in his life.
Anje
Anje is an 11th-grade student who enjoys playing soccer, running, reading, and hanging out with friends and family. She is also passionate about making a difference and impacting the world around her, especially through YVC and YAB! Anje’s most memorable YVC project was The Gardens at Warwick Forest because I was able to interact with so many residents and brighten their day.
Bryce
International Youth Advisory Board
Bryce is a junior from Hampton Roads, Virginia. Bryce’s favorite and most rewarding project with YVC was helping the elderly by making bracelets and playing bingo with them. Outside of volunteering, he enjoys playing basketball, soccer, baseball, and swimming. In his free time, he often hangs out with friends, reads, or plays video games.
Josephine
Josephine is a high school junior. She enjoys meeting new people, reading, playing tennis, and swimming. She is excited to help out those in need, and she looks forward to making a difference in the community with the rest of YVC!
Sarah
Sarah is a ninth grade student. She participates in Girl Scouts and is a member of her high school cross country team. She enjoys biking, baking, and reading. Sarah has a heart for helping her community as well.
Jamison

International Youth Advisory Board
Jamison is a high school senior. She enjoys swimming, skiing, and spending time with her friends and family. Her favorite projects have been volunteering at PORT emergency winter shelter and Peninsula Rescue Mission. She is passionate about giving back to her communities. In addition to being a member of YAB and IYAB, she serves on her school’s student council and coaches her neighborhood swim team.
Emma
YAB Secretary
Emma is a 10th grade student who enjoys baking, reading, swimming, and hanging out with friends. Her favorite thing about YVC is the variety of service projects available that are able to help so many different people across the community.
Fun Fact: Emma has played piano since she was six!!
Daylon
Daylon is a senior who enjoys playing soccer, shoes, and having fun with his friends. He joined YVC to help better and do more in his community. After graduating High School he plans on going to college and majoring in Computer Science.
Fun Fact: Daylon’s favorite place to eat is Hibachi.
Zane
Zane is a high school junior. He enjoys soccer, water sports, snowboarding, and just hanging out. He loves to volunteer both in my state and abroad. One of his favorite projects with YVC was working at the Foodbank or Grove Christian Outreach Center. I can't wait to help lead projects and work with the rest of the YVC community.”
Dillon
Dillon is a freshman in high school and has been volunteering for just about a year with YVC. His favorite volunteer site are Special Olympics Track and Field. Brooks plays basketball, track and field and cross country, and also enjoys hiking and traveling with his family.
Warisha
Warisha is an 11th grade student. She enjoys painting, drawing and playing volleyball. She loves volunteering and helping people in need. Her most memorable project was one where we served meals to people.
Brooks
International Youth Advisory Board
Brooks is a senior in high school and has spent the last 6 years volunteering with YVC! He is a member of both his school club and the International Youth Advisory Board (IYAB). His favorite volunteer sites are So All May Eat (S.A.M.E.) and Special Olympics Bowling. Brooks plays basketball, tennis and golf and also enjoys skimboarding, snowboarding and swimming.
