It’s a new year and the Menchville House needs a little sprucing up before spring. We will be working to help organize and clean the indoor space, and (weather depending) helping to beautify some of the outdoor spaces as well.

Location: The Menchville House

Details: Youth will help with organizing the indoor space and potentially some yard work, depending on weather.

Youth Needed: 10

Special Considerations: Youth will need to wear closed toe shoes and be prepared to dress for the weather!

Organization being served: Menchville House, a 501(c) 3 organization, is a forty six-bed emergency housing facility for homeless families. Their emergency housing facility for homeless families is located in the Denbigh area of Newport News on Warwick Blvd. The agency works with other homeless service providers and social service agencies that offer families the services and support needed to return to self-sufficiency.
