Trick or Treat & Pumpkin Carving

  • New Quarter Park 1000 Lakeshead Drive Williamsburg, VA, 23185 United States (map)

8 spots are available.

Halloween is almost here and York County Parks and Rec wants to make it fun while being as safe as possible during this time of COVID. During this event families will walk down select trails at the park to collect candy and other treats from volunteers dressed in costumes. After they walk the trails families will choose a pumpkin from the pumpkin patch and take it to one of the carving stations to decorate it.

Youth volunteers will help set up for the event, pass out candy and assist at the pumpkin carving station. This is an outdoor event and attendance has been capped at 45 children.

A screening process will be set up for check-in with temperature checks and a health agreement will need to be signed on the day of the project.

We are continually monitoring the COVID situation and will keep up to date on CDC guidelines and follow their recommendations to keep all youth, staff, and our partner organizations as safe as possible.

*Masks will be required for the duration of this project.

*Youth will also need a plain red shirt for the project.
