HO! HO! HO!

Help us spread a little holiday cheer to the residents at the Gardens at Warwick Forest during this virtual project. Crafters and non-crafters alike are welcome! We will be creating simple ornaments that all can complete. Our goal is to make 30 ornaments. Ornament kits will be provided to those that secure a spot on the roster.

Required materials: PC, laptop or smartphone with webcam, internet access, ornament kit provided by YVCHR.

Youth will need reliable internet access and a webcam in order to participate in the Zoom call. The Zoom link will be provided via email to those who register for the project using the online form.

On December 14th, a couple minutes before 4:00 pm, simply click on the project link from a phone, laptop or PC. If you have never used Zoom, it will ask you to download the software. It will take a couple of minutes, so plan accordingly as we will start promptly at 4:00 pm. Youth will need to enable their webcam AND microphone so they can interact during the call. Be sure to test the audio capabilities prior to the project, and consider using headphones to avoid distractions.

During the call, youth will learn how to make the ornaments and work to reach the 30 ornament goal as a group. All ornaments will need to be turned in by December 17th so we can deliver them to the Gardens before Christmas.
