Youth must be at least 12 years old to participate in this project.

YVCHR is partnering with Sleep in Heavenly Peace to build beds for kids in need. Youth will get the opportunity to be a part of the entire process from start to finish. No prior experience is necessary.

Youth will be working outside for this project and work stations will be spaced appropriately in order to maintain social distancing as best as possible. if we have to move indoors due to weather, we will ensure adequate social distance and ventilation for all participants. Masks will be required for the duration of the project. Tools will be sanitized before, during and after the project and hand sanitizer will be available.

A screening process will be set up for check-in with temperature checks and a health agreement will need to be signed. A separate Sleep in Heavenly Peace permission form will need to be filled out prior to the project as well. We also kindly ask that you avoid travel and exposure to large crowds for two weeks prior to this project for the safety of our host organization, other youth, and our staff. We are also continually monitoring the COVID situation and will keep up to date on CDC guidelines and follow their recommendations to keep all youth, staff, and our partner organizations as safe as possible.
