Being at home with nothing to do day in and day out is boring. Humans and animals alike need stimulation and challenges to feel happy, balanced and in control. A book, video game or project enriches the life of a human.
Animals need species specific stimulation and that is what we will help with on May 19th. Youth will be helping to create and assemble a variety of animal enrichment items for the Virginia Living Museum. Don’t worry! No crafting/art experience is required but it will be helpful.
Youth will need to wear a mask for the duration of the project and be ready to get a little messy potentially.
A screening process will be set up for check-in to collect any extra waivers, check temperatures and a fill out health screenings on the day of the project.
