This project is a wonderful way to experience the behind-the-scenes operation of the Angel Tree program and be Santa’s helpers for a day.

Location: Salvation Army Christmas Warehouse (old Farm Fresh building in Kiln Creek)

Details: Youth volunteers will be working in the Salvation Army Christmas warehouse where all the Angel Tree tags are sent to get sorted, organized, and matched to each child/family. Volunteers will make sure each tag is fulfilled with the appropriate clothing and toys (via Toys for Tots). If items are missing, volunteers will have the opportunity to “shop” for those items in the warehouse to fulfil the Angel Tree tag.

Youth Needed: 12

Special Considerations: Youth volunteers must be at least 12 years old and wear a mask for the duration of the project.

Organization being served: Salvation Army and their Angel Tree program which has been bring joy to families/children in need since 1979.
