Help maintain Equi-Kids facilities!

Details: Volunteer workgroups at EQUI-KIDS help us by maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and function of the grounds, buildings, and pastures for both the horses and humans. The work can vary depending on the weather, day, and season. The projects may include but are not limited to, mucking pastures, weeding flower beds, organizing merchandise, or cleaning the administrative building. The needs of EQUI-KIDS are diverse, but all the work assists us in helping to change our participants' lives for the better “One Stride at a Time.”

Special Considerations: – Volunteers must wear close-toed shoes, appropriate pants/shorts.

Organization being served: EQUI-KIDS offers a variety of equine-assisted activities including therapeutic riding, therapeutic horsemanship, equine-assisted learning, equine-assisted psychotherapy with a licensed mental health provider (mental health services for individuals and groups), Speech Therapy, EQUI-VETS Military Service Program (serving active-duty service members and veterans), EQUI-HEROES (serving first responders), job coaching, school partnership programs, summer inclusion camps, and educational workshops.
