Help keep our beaches and waterways clean!

Details: Youth will help the clean-up efforts along our Virginia Beach waterways to remove marine debris, improve water quality, and keep our city’s waters healthy and safe.

Location: Boardwalk near 36th Street

Special Considerations: Appropriate dress is required. Cleanup will occur on boardwalk and in sand. Please bring sunscreen, a small bag, water bottle and snack.

Organization being served: Lynnhaven River NOW’s mission is to educate and engage the community and partner organizations in restoring and protecting our waterways and natural areas and to restore lost habitat such as oyster reefs, salt marshes, native plants, forests, and other buffers that help to filter polluted runoff and protect our waterways and their marine life.
