YVCHR is partnering with Sleep in Heavenly Peace to build beds for kids in need. Youth will get the opportunity to be a part of the entire construction process from start to finish. No prior experience is necessary.
Youth will be working outside for this project and work stations will be spaced appropriately in order to maintain social distancing as best as possible. if we have to move indoors due to weather, we will ensure adequate social distance and ventilation for all participants. Masks will be required for the duration of the project. Tools will be sanitized before, during and after the project and hand sanitizer will be available.
A screening process will be set up for check-in with temperature checks and a health screening will need to be completed. A separate Sleep in Heavenly Peace permission form is required prior to the project as well.
Youth must be at least 12 years old for this project, and masks are required for the duration of the project.
