Looking for a project that gets your creative juices flowing and allows you to create?

If you answered yes to those questions then this project is for you. We are looking for youth volunteers who want to join us as we collaborate with other YVC affiliates and youth from around the country to participate in an Instagram Live presentation hosted by the youth at YVC Reading as a part of their Stand Together Against Racism campaign.

Our Team Leaders will facilitate the project in-person at the YVCHR office. Youth will watch the opening on of the event on IG Live, then brainstorm their social justice message and finally proceed to our parking lot to create that message in sidewalk chalk. If sidewalk chalk is not the best medium for the message the group would like to express then that can be changed. Afterward, we will upload photos of the final message and hopefully win a prize at the conclusion of the event.

Masks will be required for the duration of the project.
