YVCHR is excited to finally team up with Serve the City and the Virginia Peninsula Foodbank to distribute boxes of food to the elderly residents at Berkley Village.

Youth will need to be at least 15 years old and able to lift at least 20 pounds. Volunteers will need to be able to pack and lift boxes onto carts for delivery as well as push a cart full of boxes to resident’s doors. For the safety of volunteers and residents alike COVID protocols state that volunteers CANNOT carry boxes into resident’s homes for any reason.

Volunteers will be required to wear masks for the duration of the project as well as gloves (to be provided) while packing and delivery boxes.
