Animal Enrichment at the VLM

If you are an animal lover you know that they need mental AND physical stimulation to be a happy. Join us and use your imagination to create enrichment items for the animals at the Virginia Living Museum.

Location: Virginia Living Museum

Details: After check-in and a quick icebreaker, youth will get a lesson on the importance of animal enrichment from a very knowledgeable VLM Staff Member. Then, youth will get the opportunity to use their imagination to create enrichment toys using a wide variety of every day supplies and items. Finally, youth will get a quick after hours tour of the museum to see some of the animals that may receive their enrichment items.

Youth needed: 8

Special Considerations: A waiver for the VLM will need to be signed prior to service. Masks will be required inside regardless of vaccination status.
