Williamsburg Location

Location: Grove Christian Garden at James River Elementary School

Details: Clearing, watering and planting, oh my! Grove Christian Outreach's garden is in need of help so grab your work gloves and let's get their garden into shape so that fresh produce can be planted and grown to feed the community. Youth will be clearing brush to make more space for planting, filling water tanks, watering what’s there and planting summer crops.

Youth needed: 6-8 youth

Special Considerations: Dress for gardening with lightweight long sleeved shirts and pants. Also wear closed toe shoes! You will get dirty clearing brush and there is a very high chance you will encounter bugs. This is an outside project.

Organization being served: Grove Christian Outreach Center whose mission is to serve vulnerable families with God’s grace, while providing resources and hope for a healthier future.
