Join us for our inaugural Walk for Compassion!

Details: This walk around the fountain at City Center serves as an act of unity and remembrance — honoring those who lost their lives on 9/11, their families, and the first responders who rose to serve that day. Along the route, youth volunteers will participate in mini service project stations and walk alongside participants as a reminder that everyday acts of service — however small — are heroic.

We would love to have families participate with their youth volunteers as walkers and station participants. There is no fee to walk for family members/friends. Service project stations will operate until supplies run out. We will track service hours for youth volunteers (11-18) who sign up through YDAT.

Location: Fountain Plaza Gazebo at City Center at Oyster Point

Special Considerations: This is an outdoor project and youth will be on their feet for the duration of the project. Check-In begins at 3:30PM. Registration will close at noon.
