YVCHR will be attending the Hiding in Plain Sight Film and Discussion, held at Gildersleeve Middle School on Thursday, March 23rd. This service-learning opportunity will center around mental health topics and discussions. We need at least 8 youth signed up for this project by Monday, March 20th in order to reserve the spots for our group!

Details: Please join us for this insightful documentary that explores America’s mental health crisis through the eyes of more than twenty young people, their providers, advocates, family, and friends. The interviewees speak courageously about their challenges, difficulty finding treatment, and encounters with stigma—making their experiences more relatable for all of us. Immediately following the film, a panel of experts will comment on the film and answer your questions.
