Help us create a ripple of positive change.

The "Butterfly Effect" is the idea that small acts of service or kindness can create a ripple effect of positive change. For this year's YVC Day, we will be sorting and packing food for those facing food insecurity. We also ask that youth who are registered for this project invite one friend* who is not already a member of YVC. By sharing this service opportunity with others, we can take the butterfly effect one step further!

*Invited friend will need to fill out the online YVC waiver prior to serving. Once a youth is secures a spot on the roster and email will be sent asking for the name of the invited friend.*

A screening process will be set up for check-in for waiver collection, temperature checks, and a health screening that will also need to be filled out on the day of the project. Masks will be required for the duration of the project and a Foodbank waiver will need to be filled out prior to the project.

We are continually monitoring the COVID situation and will keep up to date on CDC guidelines and follow their recommendations to keep all youth, staff, and our partner organizations as safe as possible.
